Saudi Arabia prevents Iran from attending OIC meeting

Saudi Arabia prohibited the participation of the Iranian delegation at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting of Muslim countries. US President Donald Trump’s ‘Middle East Peace Resolution’ will be discussed in this meeting.

Today is the OIC meeting in Jeddah and before that Saudi Arabia has stopped Iran from attending the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation of Muslim countries, OIC. Saudi Arabia has banned participation of the Iranian delegation. The meeting discusses US President Donald Trump’s ‘Middle East Peace Resolution’. The Saudi authorities not only issued a visa to the Iranian delegation going to attend the conference.

 Iran has filed its complaint in this context and has also accused Saudi Arabia of misuse of its position in the OIC. However, there has been no comment from the Saudi authorities in this regard yet. Iranian officials have also condemned Trump’s plan to settle the dispute between Israel and Palestine. The plan was announced by Trump last week.
